This week we are traveling to Abingdon, VA to represent J. S. Clawson Photography at the annual Virginia Highlands Festival. This week-long festival boasts antiques & vintage dealers, arts and crafts, live music, competitions, outdoor adventures, and more. This is a great opportunity for us to showcase Scott’s photography and the printing capabilities of Mermaid Cove. Find out more about the VA Highlands Festival here.
We are so happy to introduce you to the newest member of Mermaid Cove, Rachel Clawson. Rachel played a tremendous part in the design of Shared Memories Buoyant Life and was integral in the success of our photography show, Coastal Reverie. As an award-winning graphic designer, she will bring her experience to many parts of our company, and we are very fortunate to have her on board.

We would like to welcome Blanche Edwards to the Mermaid Cove Publishing family this week. Ms. Edwards’ first book, Where the Wild Violets Grow, will be released later this year. This historical fiction book is based on the life of Ms. Edwards’ great-grandmother during the last half of the 19th century. We look forward to bringing this manuscript to life and sharing it with you.
