Who We Are
Mermaid Cove Productions and Publishing is a creative art studio and independent, hybrid publisher founded by husband-and-wife team, Scott and Angela Clawson. Having always worked as a team, their collaboration at Mermaid Cove is no exception. Together they have owned several businesses, raised a family, and traveled the world. Their experience, honesty, and values give artists and authors the confidence they seek.
Helena Crevel recently joined Mermaid Cove as the in-house illustrator. She is a talented artist and illustrator, bringing years of artist experience to Mermaid Cove.

Graphic Designer/Fine Art Printer
Angie has over twenty years of graphic design, website, marketing, and art printing experience. The majority of that experience came from her time working for the late, award-winning American artist, P. Buckley Moss. She brings that experience to her roles as publisher, graphic designer, website designer, author assistant services, and original art printer to Mermaid Cove.
In her spare time, Angie enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, and traveling with Scott and their “princess” cat, Elsa.
Scott, Owner/Project Manager/Writer
Scott’s passion is writing and photography. He brings over 25 years of supervisory, sales, and management experience to Mermaid Cove as the project manager and publication assistant.
Besides his love for writing and photography, Scott enjoys cooking, gardening, and his travel adventures with Angie and Elsa, the travel cat.

Helena Crevel, Illustrator
Helena Crevel is an illustrator born in Ukraine and currently working from her studio in Paris, France.
From the tiniest insects to the grandest of beasts, Helena has a special passion for bringing all types of creatures to the pages of children’s’ stories.
