Phillip Sanderson

Phillip has enjoyed a 35+ year career as a high school mathematics teacher, but now is also flexing the other side of his brain—the one where fictional characters come alive and run amok in his imagination.

Phillip and his wife live in southeastern Virginia, where they stay busy updating an old farmhouse and keeping up with their four adult children and (to date) two grandchildren. Most mornings, she patiently listens to his dreams from the previous night and wishes that the people living in his head would start paying rent and stop free-loading.

Lastly, Phillip is extremely salty that he did not receive an invitation to try out to host Jeopardy!, but reluctantly agrees that Ken Jennings does an acceptable job.

Phillip’s latest book, Love Like a Snowfall, will be released next year. This warm and cozy book shows how love can drift into our lives the way snowflakes do—softly, quietly, and all at once. Love Like a Snowfall will be treasured by the young and old alike.

Phillip is also the author of Conkers, Pearls, and the Girl Who Loved Snuffy Stirnweiss, as well as short stories in the shared world of Cozy Vales.
