Gary Brown
Gary Brown practiced as a professional counselor in Ohio from 2001 to 2010. After receiving Ohio licensure, he founded the nonprofit corporation Helping Horses/Healing Arts in Cincinnati, where he served as president and therapist until 2008.
He has held adjunct teaching positions at Xavier University in Cincinnati and Averett University in Virginia, and an assistant professorship at Hampton University in Virginia.
An experienced airline transport pilot, Gary has served in corporate and ministry pilot positions over a span of forty years. He has worked as an actor with film credits that include Beowulf, Prince of the Geats, a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, and Flight to Freedom, a finalist in the SAG-sponsored Forty-Eight Hour Film Project.
Gary holds a master’s degree in counseling from Xavier University and is a graduate of Charis Bible College in Woodland Park, Colorado. He is currently establishing a ministry based upon the life-changing contents of this book.
A World of His Own: Understanding the Difference Between the World God Created and the World We Have Now, was Gary’s first book. His newest book, A Practical Guide to Changing Our World Through Personal Transformation, will be a condensed version of his first book highlighting the main points found in A World of His Own.
