  • A poem about the void that's left by losing someone you once thought you could trust.

    Go away, Go away,

    Go away, Go away,

I want to see another day

Let this end, Let this end,

Let this end, Let this end

This pain won't bring you back, my friend

If I could, you know I would

Id move on far away from here

I just can't find the way to steer

If its all because i called too much

Then why tell me this is as such

For 10 plus years i put in on you

Just for you to say “we’re through”

And now it hurts so much to say

I want to see another day

When will this pain, to me you brought

Let me leave this place Once Sought

The place I know I once had found

A place to be there safe and sound

Yet in my dreams you still just linger

And every time, an insect stinger

    Go away, Go away

    Go away, Go away

I want you here, but you won't stay

So let me see another day!

  • There was in fact a great big rat

That fell into our russet sack

We left said sack next to our door

That led him down to our cellar floor

The rat then ate our food galore

He grew until he broke our door

That led him down to our cellar floor

Our floor beneath the kitchen tore

Then mom found out and yelled oh drat!

There must have been a rat in fact!

A great big rat in our russet sack!

  • Summer morning; the sunrise created a soft glow on the pond, its still water like mirrored glass.

The scent of morning glory was pungent; the new spring grass fragrant and full of dew.

I shook it off my bare feet, ready to welcome the new day, mourning only its fleeting beauty.
